what has it been, two weeks?

i know i promised no life updates, but some actual big things have been happening in abby-land that i feel are worthy of sharing!
first of all, homestuck. vuv; here's me telling you from here on out that i am the biggest dork in the history of forever for homestuck now. and i really think, if you haven't read it yet, you really really have to! i think about a year ago i tried to get into it, and i got through about five pages of frustrated attempts at typing stuff in and threw my hands up in the air in defeat. disclaimer: the first two acts are "slow" the first time around. there's a lot of twists and really amazing humor weaved in, but it's hard not to feel confused, and frustrated at the lack of "action." [[i was screaming at my phone about rose's situation quite frequently]] BUT, i have a solution for that! if you really can't get through it by straight-up reading the webcomic [at mspaintadventures.com], here's a link to the voice acting collab on youtube that makes it go much faster.

let me tell you, HEADCANNON VOICES GALORE. at first, john's voice drove me crazy. but later you realize that it totally fits him, you get used to it and don't mind it at all! eue

i got into it about two weeks ago and i'm working on reading it a second time becauseihavenolife and here's what i'll say to you: homestuck is one of the [if not the top] funniest, most entertaining, wonderfully crafted thing i have ever read. the plot is so intricate! asdf, just go try it! you really don't have a lot to lose, and you will probably find that you have a few new ships [which hussie will inevitably blow holes in]. and the MUSIC for this webcomic, WOWOWOWOW, it is just 100% yes.
[[mostly this is important because i've been drawing a shit-ton of fan art, and probably will for awhile. SAWWY >~<;]]

on to the next topic, my older brother moved back in. i'm referring to the handicapped one, the one that i kind of... dislike is not the proper term, i just find him as extremely stressful and... yeah i'm just going to stop talking there, remember abby, no rants! but, disclaimer, this is likely going to affect my mood and may make me more cranky than normal. this shouldn't affect you all personally, but in advance, if it does, i'm sorry! D;

and lastly, ABBY GOT A JOB! you know, a real, legit job where i have regular hours and [hopefully] will have a puke-free experience >u<; i will be making smoothies, NO i will not give you any recipes, because i'm not allowed to. and also i'm quite positive that you don't care >w<; but, that's going to cut down on my online hours in the near future. i start next monday. at six. thirty. a.m. v-v; dsfadsads. no comment.

and on that note, i'm also starting school again on the fifteenth! v~v so there goes another chunk of free time.
